It's not like Alaska isn't wilderness - it mostly is. But most Alaskans don't live in the wild. They live on the edge of the wild in towns with schools and cable TV and stores and dentists and roller rinks sometimes. It's just like anyplace else, only with mountains and moose. Tom Bodett

First Post
Just getting started in this blogger thing, I'll try and make it interesting. The summer months I'll spend most every evening with atleast a couple of hours paddling, mostly on Lake Independence (close to home). Now I have to wait for pool sessions .. they seem to few and far between. Just put some $$ down on a new Valley Q boat! It isn't going to get here until mid March - June 1 .. I'll try and keep the Romany, I'd really rather not have to sell it. We'll see how it goes.
