It's not like Alaska isn't wilderness - it mostly is. But most Alaskans don't live in the wild. They live on the edge of the wild in towns with schools and cable TV and stores and dentists and roller rinks sometimes. It's just like anyplace else, only with mountains and moose.

It's a Pentax Optio W20. The file size is huge. That one minute video clip is over 60 meg, and trying to upload a file that big takes forever. It may be easier to use You Tube, but the quality doesn't seem as good. At any rate, I'm still learning how to make it all work!

Hey, Ron, what boat are you using there?
The Nordkapp, it's an easy roller. sort of like rolling a log ... it doesn't seem to mind being upside down or right side up.
