Busy week ahead

Wow .. deadlines this week at work. Planes have to be ready for departure for the fishing camp ... I need to finish details for a talk I am doing at the Inland Sea Kayak Symposium this weekend ... board meeting with SKOAC ... pack the camping gear ... and still need to get out a couple of evenings and keep working on the stick roll. I almost had it last night, after somewhere around the 20th try, I decided might have to give it a rest for a day or so.
The picture is Saturday night on Lake Independence. Was a good weather weekend.

You'll have to jump in my Yost folder with my tuilik at the symposium. You won't be talking about norsaq rolls after that since hand rolls will be easy for you in that kayak!

Hey, when are you driving up? Are you going to attend the update?

I'm looking forward to the Yost!! I just may have to build one.

Planning on leaving Friday morning early ... update??

I have no set plans for the weekend except for safety boating for the demo's, and Sunday am is the "Blog Blog Blog" talk.

Sounds good. The update is an instructor update and training that is taking place on Wednesday night and Thursday.

I'm meeting Chris up there on Wednesday afternoon. Yikes that's soon! I need to hurry up and patch my drysuit, install my compass, prep by "homework" for the update, refinish my paddle...

The Yost is a good one. I had the chance to paddle one at the QAJAQ camp last year. Sorry you will be going to the one syposium I am not. I'll be at Door county and Grand Marais.
