It's not like Alaska isn't wilderness - it mostly is. But most Alaskans don't live in the wild. They live on the edge of the wild in towns with schools and cable TV and stores and dentists and roller rinks sometimes. It's just like anyplace else, only with mountains and moose.

Messin with the video
On Lake Independence last night, trying out a camera mount. It needs a bit of work yet.

I love it!!! Now if you can just get a few fish to cooperate it would really add a lot to that roll...
Hi Josh, Its nothing more than a tripod folded flat under the bungees. The trouble is reaching the controls ... I need to mount the camera to the spare gp paddle so I can reach the controls, and still get a large enough veiw. If you pause the video just as the boat rolls up, you will see the cardinal rolling sin. I never knew I was doing it until I recorded it.

Super, love the sound. Hate you for making the reverse sweep look so easy:)
Lookin' good, Ron!!!
Thanks! Now if I could get the off side working as well ... Fun stuff!!
What sort of mount are you using Ron? I also share Silb's sentiment about the reverse sweep.
