A fun pool session Sunday. Being able to stand up on the back deck of your boat probably has little practical use, and I don't know why I spent so much effort working in it this Winter, but it sure is satisfying to finally be able to do it. Even if it is only for a short time. The rolling has been getting better ... even the balance brace is starting to get a little better. It's difficult when you reach a plateau and things don't get easier, but then you figure out some little piece, and so many other things seem to fall into place.

This is a shaming piece, right? You and Derrick and the acrobatics. Now, I suppose, the rest of us have to try it. Where's my helmet? :)
I'll have to admit, seeing Derricks antics have given me the of the ambition to work at it.
LOL! Very nice! Now let me tell you where you use it. . . Imagine paddling up to a wall about 4 feet high and having to get out by going up over the wall, then getting back into your kayak later by crawling back over the wall and down to your boat. Sure, jumping in the water and climbing in works, but it's nice to keep your feet dry. :)
Good point! Come to think of it, even a small dock presents some problems. Now the headstand .... I'm a long way from that one, I'll leave that to you and Freya.
